Jalandhar: A special lecture was organized by the Vigilance Department of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jalandhar, at the institute's NKN Hall to mark the Vigilance Awareness Campaign. The Institute's Director, Prof. Binod Kumar kanaujia, and Registrar, Prof. Anish Sachdeva, were notably present on the occasion. Mr. S. N. Bisht, a retired Deputy Secretary from the Ministry of Education, Government of India, participated as the keynote speaker.
In his address, the keynote speaker elaborated on the practical aspects of maintaining transparency, integrity, and institutional accountability in administrative functions. He emphasized that vigilance is not merely confined to rules but is linked to the adoption of ethical values ​​in daily operations and conduct.
The event was coordinated by Mr. Sarbjot Singh Sandhu, Chief Vigilance Officer and Associate Professor at NIT Jalandhar. Faculty members, non-teaching staff, research scholars, and other personnel of the institute participated enthusiastically in the lecture. At the conclusion of the session, participants also engaged in discussions regarding various practical aspects of the subject.
