Jalandhar: In a noble gesture aimed at supporting meritorious and needy students in pursuing their education, the Nishkam Sikh Welfare Council awarded scholarships to six students of DAV College, Jalandhar. The scholarships, ranging from Rs. 30,000 to 40,000 per student, were disbursed in the form of scholarship cheques. Dr Anoop Vats, Principal, DAV College Jalandhar, presented the cheques to the deserving students.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Anoop Vats expressed his sincere gratitude to the Nishkam Sikh Welfare Council for its generous initiative and valuable support to the students. He appreciated the Council's commitment towards promoting education and extending financial assistance to deserving students.

Dr Vats further expressed the hope that the Council would continue and expand such philanthropic initiatives in the future so that more needy and deserving students of the college could benefit from such scholarships. The college authorities appreciated the generous contribution of the Nishkam Sikh Welfare Council and its efforts towards making higher education more accessible to students facing financial constraints.
