Jalandhar: In a sterling initiative reflecting their commitment to nation-building and community service, more than 35 students of DAV College, Jalandhar, have been actively serving as enumerators in the ongoing Census survey being conducted under the supervision of Shri Sandeep Rishi, IAS, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar.
The participation of these young scholars in an exercise of such national importance is highly commendable. Through their involvement, the students not only made a meaningful contribution to a vital governmental initiative but also gained valuable exposure to fieldwork and developed essential social and communication skills.
Appreciating the dedication and sincerity displayed by the students, Shri Rajesh Khokhar, Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar, lauded their efforts and acknowledged the significant role played by educational institutions in fostering civic responsibility among youth. He also expressed his gratitude to Dr. Anoop Kumar, Principal, DAV College Jalandhar, and Mrs. Sonika Dania, Vice Principal, for motivating and encouraging the students to undertake this important assignment.
